Roma interested in Benfica goalkeeper

Roma are interested in signing Benfica goalkeeper Mile Svilar in the summer transfer window.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Tiago Pinto is still looking around in the market to find the right profiles for Jose Mourinho’s squad and both of them are a fan of Svilar’s profile.

Pinto has excellent relations with the player and his entourage but he does not want to act in a rude way to him or Benfica. Out of that respect, Pinto wants to wait till the player’s contract expires in the summer and he wants to make sure that Benfica get a future benefit from the transfer. A solution could be a possible percentage on the future resale.

Mourinho spoke well of Svilar back in 2017, when his Manchester United side had faced a teenage Svilar in the Champions League and even though the goalkeeper made an error, Mourinho had praised the player.

Svilar is expected to have other clubs interested in him in Portugal and Roma will not find it easy to sign him.
