Roma are interested in the possibility of signing Tottenham’s Emerson Royal this summer.
Emerson is expected to look Tottenham with summer, with the club having already signed Ivan Perisic and coming close to signing Djed Spence.Â
Gianluca di Marzio’s staff has written for Corriere della Sera about Roma’s interest in the possibility of signing Emerson from Spurs. The Brazilian is looking for a club where he can rebuild himself and he wants to play in the Champions League next season.
Emerson currently has an approach from Atletico Madrid, who are currently leading the race for him as they will offer him the possibility of playing in the Champions League. Roma’s interest is concrete but they have not made any offer for the ex-Barcelona man yet.
There is a feeling that Emerson’s contributions at Spurs in the 2021/22 season could have been much more than what he contributed in terms of goals and assists.
