Roma reach ‘verbal agreement’ with Benfica man

Roma have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Benfica goalkeeper Mile Svilar.

Corriere dello Sport claim that Svilar is getting closer and closer to joining Roma and Tiago Pinto is now working to close out negotiations for the Benfica goalkeeper.

A verbal agreement on a contract for the player has already been found by the Giallorossi, with the goalkeeper’s contract running out in the summer of 2022 itself. Some details about a compensation to Benfica are yet to be agreed and that are the details which Roma are yet to completely sort out.

Once that compensation is agreed, Roma will be free to sign Svilar while handing him the contract that has been verbally agreed.
