Roma are said to be taking their time in making a move for Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Matic has indeed been offered to Jose Mourinho’s side (Get Italian Football News covered previous rumours about the same).
The report claims that Serie A clubs have previously tried to sign the Serbian in the past but the issue that held them back was his wage demands at United. Roma even tried a potential move last summer but it didn’t go through.
Now, Matic would be happy to reunite with Mourinho once again. As things stand though, Tiago Pinto has not made a decision about the Serbian. The move isn’t said to be a complicated one, but Roma believe that in case the move doesn’t work out, they wouldn’t get any profit on a future move because of Matic’s age.
Inter, Juventus and Milan have previously thought about signing the ex-Chelsea man but the move didn’t work out.
