Roma want around €60m for winger amid interest from Milan and Juventus

Nicolo Zaniolo’s hat-trick in the Europa Conference League quarter-finals against Bodo/Glimt has reportedly increased his stock in the market.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AS Roma will be looking for a transfer fee of around €50-60million for the sale of Zaniolo this summer.

Following what has been an underwhelming season for the 22-year-old talented Italian, there have been reports of Zaniolo being interested in a move away from Stadio Olimpico in the summer.

Juventus are reported to be one of the willing parties for the Massa-born prodigy. However, as per the report, Zaniolo prefers Milan.

If a move doesn’t get materialised this summer, Zaniolo will be happy to stay put at Roma. But he will understandably demand a contract renewal. The Roma management has put all contract renewal talks on hold until the end of the season.

Zaniolo’s current contract at Rome expires in June 2024. In his new terms, the winger-cum-playmaker wants a figure of around €6million plus bonuses to match the annual salary of club captain Lorenzo Pellegrini.
