Romelu Lukaku set for MRI to know FIFA World Cup involvement

Inter and Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku will undergo a test tomorrow to know more about his involvement in the FIFA World Cup.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) claim that while Lukaku was called up to the Belgian national team, there is no medical certainty about how fit he will be for the tournament and how much he will be able to feature.

Because of that, he will undergo a MRI tomorrow and that will help him understand in detail for as to how much he will be able to play in the tournament that starts next Sunday. The hope of him being increasingly involved is certainly growing, but the fact that his test was initially postponed could well suggest otherwise.

Belgium want to give him a little more time to be fully fit, so that he can return in the best way possible and he isn’t rushed in.
