Sacking Max Allegri not an option for Juventus following Milan defeat

Sacking manager Massimiliano Allegri is currently not an option for Juventus following their defeat to Milan on Saturday.

The Bianconeri have won only once in their last five league games and they picked up a 2-0 loss at the San Siro, with Brahim Diaz and Fikayo Tomori scoring one goal in each half for the Rossoneri. While the defeat did put Juve and Allegri under more pressure, it doesn’t seem as if the manager is leaving.

La Stampa (via JN24) have reported that Allegri’s position at the club was precarious even before the game began in Milan yesterday and it remains so even now – after the defeat. It is stated that sacking the Italian is not even an option for the Old Lady right now and the team will not go into a ‘ritiro’ ahead of the game against Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League and a loss can all but end their hopes of going into the next round.
