Sarri wants Chelsea loanee, Milan captain, and Inter outcast but Lazio seem hesitant

Lazio are yet to respond to Maurizio Sarri’s transfer calls, with a gap between supply and demand clouding the Tuscan’s ambitions.

A report from Il Messaggero understands that Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri wants to land Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri, Inter’s Matías Vecino, and Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli ahead of the next season.

While the board has reportedly given their assurance over the potential arrivals of the manager’s summer transfer targets, the reported deals have seen no progress in recent times.

The club owner Claudio Lotito is unwilling to go beyond a salary of €2.5million for the Milan captain, while Romagnoli is reportedly asking for an annual salary of €3.2million.

Juventus have been keeping a close eye on Romagnoli’s situation at the moment. As far as Lazio are concerned, the negotiations with the entourage of the defender have reached a stalemate.
