Sassuolo CEO on PSGโ€™s chase of Gianluca Scamacca: โ€œHe is an interesting player for many clubs.โ€

Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has stated that he met with Paris Saint-Germain after the Champions League final and many clubs are interested in Gianluca Scamacca.

PSG, in recent days, have held talks for a move for Scamacca but they are yet to agree a fee with the Neroverdi for the Italian striker. But talks are said to be continuing for the move.

Carnevali was asked about PSGโ€™s interest in Scamacca and he told Gianluca di Marzio: โ€œA meeting with PSG for Scamacca? Luis Campos is a friend, we also met at the Champions League final. There was talk of more players, but certainly Scamacca was the subject of the conversation. I think he is an interesting player for many clubs.โ€

Arsenal have previously had a bid rejected for the Italy international as Sassuolo currently want a fee of โ‚ฌ50 million to sell their asset. PSG have not gone beyond an offer of โ‚ฌ35 million so far, with discussions ongoing.
