Sergej Milinković-Savić’s future to be addressed after World Cup

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić has been linked with Manchester United, Paris Saint-German, Juventus, and several other top European clubs in the recent past.

In an interview with Corriere dello Sport (via Fabrizio Romano), the midfielder’s agent Mateja Kezman claimed that there would be a discussion regarding Milinković-Savić’s future at Lazio after the 2022 World Cup. He said:

“Sergej has just 18 months left on his contract. We will have to discuss his situation with Lazio after the World Cup.”

A few days ago, one report suggested that Juventus would like to make an ambitious offer for the Serbian in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Reacting to that report, Lazio president Claudio Lotito claimed that he had not made any agreement with Milinković-Savić or Kezman to sell the player to Juventus or any other club anytime soon. Instead, he would like to take €‎120 million for the 27-year-old as his price, according to the club chief, increases every month.
