SERIE A POSSIBLE LINE-UPS | Juventus v Roma

Juventus will take on Roma in their third Serie A game of the campaign, with Jose Mourinho returning to a familiar foe.

The Bianconeri started off their campaign with a win over Sassuolo but they were rather insipid in the recent 0-0 draw at Sampdoria in the previous game week. Max Allegri was criticised a fair bit for his rather defensive approach against Marco Giampaolo’s side.

Roma tough, have picked up all six points from games against Salernitana and Lecce. But Mourinho has been left frustrated by injuries picked up by Nicolo Zaniolo and Georginio Wijnaldum. But the game against the Old Lady will provide a much better reflection of the Giallorossi’s abilities.

WIth both Zaniolo and Wijnaldum out, Lorenzo Pellegrini is expected to play further forward and Nemanja Matic is expected to start.

For Juve, there is an expectation that Fabio Miretti could start the game and Allegri will switch to a 4-3-3 shape. Leonardo Bonucci remains out of contention for selection.

Here’s how Sky Italia expect both teams to line-up:

JUVENTUS (probable formation) 4-3-3: Perin; De Sciglio, Danilo, Bremer, Alex Sandro; Locatelli, Miretti, Rabiot; Cuadrado, Vlahovic, Kostic

ROME (probable formation) 3-4-2-1: Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Karsdorp, Cristante, Matic, Spinazzola; Dybala, Pellegrini; Abraham
