SERIE A POTENTIAL LINE-UPS | Napoli v Monza

After proving their doubters wrong against Hellas Verona in Matchday 1 of the Serie A, Napoli will face off newly promoted Monza later today.

While Napoli completed an ecstatic comeback to snatch the three points against Verona last Monday, Giovanni Stroppa’s Monza fell short against Torino despite Danny Mota’s late goal which could only reduce the deficit.

The likes of Hirving Lozano, Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are expected to start for Napoli after showing an exemplary display last match. Since then, the Partenopei have also secured two new signings with the names of striker Giovanni Simeone and forward Giacomo Raspadori but both are expected to make the bench and then appear as a substitute later on.

As for Monza, attacking midfielder Machin has recovered in time for this clash but Carlos Augusto is set for time on the sidelines. Andrea Petagna and Gianluca Caprari are set to be partners in the attack.

Here is how Sky Italia predicts both teams to line-up:

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Kim Min-jae, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka Zielinski; Lozano, Osimhen Kvaratskhelia.

Monza (3-5-2): Di Gregorio; Marlon, Pablo Marì, Carboni; Birindelli, F. Ranocchia, Barberis, Sensi, D’Alessandro; Petagna, Caprari.
