Torino negotiating with Leicester and Napoli for Dennis Praet and Adam Ounas

Torino are willing to improve on the results of the last season, with the club prioritizing the permanent transfer of Dennis Praet this summer.

As reported by La Stampa, Torino have started negotiating with Leicester City over the permanent move for Dennis Praet. Praet joined the Italian club last summer on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy worth €15million.

Torino want the midfielder but are reluctant to pay the fee. Hence, they are holding the talks to discuss a discount. It is believed that the recent meetings have gone well. And if the progress continues, the club could soon announce the permanent acquisition of the Belgium international.

On top of singing Praet, Ivan Juric‘s side has also made contact with Napoli over a potential deal for Adam Ounas. Ounas’ contract with Napoli expires in June 2023.

The player has reportedly opted against penning a contract extension at Naples, owing to the lack of the playing time afforded to him in the 2021/22 season.

Napoli is open to letting him leave this summer, but they have asked for €8million in return. Newly-promoted Italian side Monza are understood to have shown interest in landing the attacker, who played 439 minutes of football for the Luciano Spalletti’s club last season.
