Tottenham make new approach for Juventus’ Bentancur

Tottenham have come forward with a new offer for Juventus’ Rodrigo Bentancur.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Spurs had made a loan move for the midfielder yesterday but it was pegged back. But Di Marzio has now stated that Spurs have made an improved offer for the Uruguayan player today.

It is a much more convincing formula than the previous one for Juve, even though Aston Villa are expected to make a new attempt for the ex-Boca Juniors man.

They have proposed a more financially viable move and it more than just a loan deal. If another offer does not arrive for him, Juve will be close to accepting the offer and Villa would be missing out on their midfield target.

Spurs’ offer is at €30 million including bonuses. Lyon have also been linked with the midfielder, as they look to replace Bruno Guimaraes.
