Tottenham make concrete approach for Inter’s Ivan Perisic amidst Chelsea interest

Tottenham have made a concrete approach to sign Inter’s Ivan Perisic.

Marco Conterio has reported about Spurs’ interest in the Croatian, after The Independent in England reported that the London club are close to signing the player. Conterio has reported that Spurs have indeed burst in for the wing-back, who entourage are yet to respond to Inter’s offer for a new deal.

Chelsea are also interested but their situation is stuck due to the change of ownership. Spurs’ contacts have been decisive and their offer is slightly higher than what Inter have put forward. Inter have offered €5 million per season plus bonuses but Spurs’ approach is higher than €5 million per season and they have offered a two-year deal.

Juventus are only spectators in the negotiation, with Inter yet to receive any response from the Croatian’s agents. Perisic has impressed a lot this season and he scored vital goals for them in the Coppa Italia final against Juve recently.
