Tottenham pressing to sign Udinese’s Destiny Udogie amidst interest from Inter and Man City

Premier League side Tottenham are pressing in their attempts to sign Udinese’s Destiny Udogie.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Spurs are applying strong pressure to sign the left-back and are pushing to find an agreement on a fee with Udinese.

Antonio Conte could also be willing to allow Udinese to keep the Italian for another season, so that Udogie develops more in a season and returns to Spurs next summer. Spurs’ previous enquiries helped them learn figures lower than what the deal can be done for now, as the transfer can be done for €25 million including bonuses.

Inter and Man City have also enquiried about the player in recent days, with Brighton also interested amidst Marc Cucurella’s links with Chelsea. But Spurs are in the lead for the player and the deal could close.

The teenager impressed a lot for Udinese last season and it is barely a surprise that many clubs are interested in him.
