Tottenham reach verbal agreement to sign Destiny Udogie from Udinese

Premier League side Tottenham have now reached a verbal agreement with Udinese to sign left-back Destiny Udogie.

While it was previously reported that both clubs could reach an agreement regarding a transfer fee for the defender, a crucial point seems to have now arrived in the move.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that a verbal agreement regarding the transfer fee has now been reached and the deal is expected to be now formalised in the next few days. Part of the agreement will be the plan to loan out Udogie back to Udinese for another campaign.

The move only needs formalising and that is expected to take place in the next few days. The Udinese star had attracted interest from Brighton and Hove Albion, Manchester City and even Inter.

Udogie had impressed for the Udine-based side last season and he scored five goals, while picking up three assists as well.
