Venezia are interested in signing Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara this January.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the newly promoted Serie A side is ready to challenge other clubs in the hunt for Diawara, who is reflecting on his future destination and wants to leave Roma in January itself.
Diawara hasn’t struck a chord with Jose Mourinho and that is why the Giallorossi also want to move on from the player.
Talks with Valencia did accelerate but nothing materialised and the move has stalled, as things stand. Venezia are looking to survive the drop and have now entered the race for the player.
Diawara hasn’t made a final decision about his future yet and he’s now reflecting on the move to the Venice-based side.
