Premier League club West Ham United submit their first offer for Piotr Zielinski

Piotr Zielinski, once touted to be an integral part of Napoli, could leave the Italian club this summer, with West Ham United ramping up their interest in the Polish playmaker.

According to transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, West Ham United have come up with their first official bid for Piotr Zielinski. The report claims that the Premier League club’s latest offer consists of a figure of around €25 million plus bonuses.

But Napoli are demanding €35 million plus bonuses for the 28-year-old, who has two years left on his contract at Naples. Following the capture of Gianluca Scamacca, the English club sees Zielinski as their next transfer target.

Lazio were reportedly interested in the Pole. Maurizio Sarri is understood to be a huge admirer of the player. But Lazio could not afford the player’s salary, making it difficult for the Roman club to consider a potential transfer for Zielinski this summer.

As things stand, Napoli will be looking for a better offer from West Ham. It would be interesting to see whether the Hammers increase their bid for the midfielder.
