Zlatan Ibrahimovic signs new Milan contract

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now signed a new contract with Milan.

The Rossoneri have already signed Divock Origi on a free transfer, with Olivier Giroud still there and having impressed in the pre-season friendlies. Andrea Belotti was also linked with a move to the club but any transfer didn’t materialise.

Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that while an agreement was approaching over the last few weeks, the contract between the two parties has now been signed. He has penned a one-year deal with the Rossoneri.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara went right to the Swede on Lake Garda in a villa and picked up the signature of the Swede, who therefore will remain with the Rossoneri despite the injury. The fixed part of his wage is lower than what was last season and he will earn €1 million per season or €1.5 million per season and bonuses on top of that on the basis of goals and assists.
