Adama Traore considering Wolves exit despite contract offer

Adama Traore is considering leaving Wolves amidst contacts with Napoli, despite the Premier League side having offered the Spaniard a new contract.

Traore spent the previous season on loan at Barcelona but returned to Wolves in the summer. His current contract at the club runs out in the summer and the winger has been linked with a move to Napoli, courtesy of Jorge Mendes’ contacts with the Partenopei.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported about the player’s situation, stating that Julen Lopetegui does not want to lose the winger in the summer and Wolves have offered a new deal worth €3 million plus bonuses per season. They will keep pressing for his signature but for now, Traore does not want to sign the contract and would like to leave on a free transfer.

Contacts with Napoli, it is reported, have been going on since October of 2022 regarding a potential free transfer to Naples.
