Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is now set to stay at the Bianconeri and he will not leave the club in the January transfer window.
Rabiot has been linked with a host of Premier League sides, but Giovanni Albanese has reported that the player and his mother-agent now want to make sure that the Frenchman stays at the Bianconeri this month.
Veronique Rabiot did visit the Continassa today and she had coffee with Federico Cherubini, while talking about his son’s situation. They didn’t speak about the contract and only wanted to clarify each other’s position around the player’s future. Rabiot wants to play out the end of his contract and he will not open to an exit this month, even Juve have considered his exit this month.
The renewal situation remains awkward though, as Veronique wants to make sure that the midfielder earns in double figures and earn a hefty commission. If the Man Utd move had gone through, Juve would have earned a total of €20 million but they are now about to lose him for free.
Veronique hopes that an offer from England can arrive and meet the financial demands. Juve, meanwhile, could yet offer a higher wage than what he earns in his current deal and bring him close to Paul Pogba in terms of earning.
