Agent of Alessandro Bastoni: “He’s an Inter fan and he wants to stay”

The agent of Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni has revealed that the player wants to stay at the club and he’s a fan of the Nerazzurri.

Bastoni’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2024 and reports today have stated that Inter are facing difficulties regarding the renewal. They want to hand him a new deal in the next season but Bastoni is unhappy with that call and there is a big difference between his demands and what Inter are looking to offer right now.

Bastoni’s agent Tullio Tinti recently spoke to Tuttomercatoweb about the situation of his client and he revealed that the Inter wants to stay at the club and sign a new deal.

He stated: “These are the first meetings, we’re talking about it, there will be room in the coming weeks. He has always been an Inter fan, we’re talking about it.”

He was asked about interest from other clubs and stated: “Absolutely, but he’s an Inter fan and he wants to stay at Inter.”

He also addressed the recent rumours and stated: “Why should they be agitated? You spread the rumors, not me or Bastoni.”

Bastoni has been previously been linked with moves to Tottenham and Manchester City but he stayed at the club. He has been a regular for the Nerazzurri this season, having made 30 appearances in all competitions and also picking up five assists.
