Agent of Inter’s Stefan de Vrij reveals interest from Spanish clubs

Federico Pastorello, the agent of Inter defender Stefan de Vrij, has revealed that Spanish sides are interested in signing the Netherlands defender.

De Vrij’s current deal runs out in the summer and as of now, he is expected to leave Inter on a free transfer. Milan Skriniar has also rejected a new deal from Inter and Paris Saint-Germain have been concretely linked with him.

De Vrij’s agent Federico Pastorello recently spoke to Rai Sports recently and he gave his views about the future of his client, with his contract running out.

The Italian said: “I don’t know if Skriniar will go to PSG already by the end of the January market, but what I can say is that the Inter managers have called me in these hours to speed up the contract renewal of De Vrij, who is my client. He wants to stay in Milan but there are also other clubs, especially the Spanish ones, who have requested him for some time.”

De Vrij was previously linked with a move to Tottenham last summer but Inter delayed the decision to hand him a new deal.

This season, he has made 12 appearances in Serie A and has played four times in the UEFA Champions League. While his form has dropped since Inter’s title-winning days, De Vrij is still an important part of the side and is still a regular part of the Nerazzurri backline.
