Agent of Juventus’ Daniele Rugani: “Juve don’t want to negotiate any transfer”

Even though Daniele Rugani has been linked to a move away from Juventus, his agent Davide Torchia has reiterated that both player and club share the will to continue together.

Juventus have no intention to sell Rugani, Torchia revealed to TuttoJuve, when the agent was asked about the situation of the Italian centre-back.

“Juventus has expressed the pleasure of continuing to have him in their squad and do not want to negotiate any transfer. The player is useful to the project of the club that is being created at the moment.”

Torchia also confirmed that Rugani ‘never asked to leave’. According to multiple reports elsewhere, Sampdoria are one of the sides interested in Rugani’ services.

“We know our role, Daniele works to be up to it and always wants to be ready.”

Stand-in against Udinese

Rugani replaced Bremer in the starting line-up on Saturday against Udinese, as the Brazilian had to recover from the match against Cremonese. With Rugani alongside Danilo, Juventus kept their 8th Serie A clean sheet in a row and won their 8th consecutive Serie A game too.

Torchia had positive words to say about Rugani, who almost scored a goal against Udinese and played well.

“Daniele, together with his teammates, managed to follow up on the work undertaken in recent weeks: not to concede goals. That’s pleasing.”
