Ajax interested in Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci

Dutch side Ajax are interested in the possibility of signing Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.

The Italian’s lawyers recently delivered a complaint to the Juventus higher-ups, with the player out of the project at the club. The Bianconeri replied instantly, stating that their choice is technical and Bonucci is still being offered high quality training facilities.

According to sources contacted by Get Italian Football News, Bonucci is still not against the idea of staying at Juve and fighting for his place at the club but he is open to seeking other options, if no solution is found about his situation at the Bianconeri. Clubs are interested in the possibility of signing him and one of those clubs is Ajax.

A host of other clubs have been linked with the defender in recent months and that includes Lazio, where Bonucci would reunite with Maurizio Sarri. Newcastle United were linked with the veteran but sources close to Get Italian Football News have already ruled out the possibility of that move.
