Al-Shabab make offer for Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola

Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab are interested in Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola and have now made an offer for the Italian’s signature this summer.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that an offer has been received by the Giallorossi, with Saudi Arabian sides continuing to invest in European stars. He isn’t the first Serie A player to have attracted interest from the Middle East, with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic having already joined Al-Hilal and Marcelo Brozovic having joined Al-Nassr.

Piotr Zielinski has also received an offer from Al-Ahli and he is interested in the move, with Nicolo Zaniolo also linked with a move to Al-Hilal. While Zaniolo has been linked with a move, Spinazzola could become the first Italian player in their ongoing recruitment drive to head to Saudi Arabia.

Spinazzola had returned from injury last season and did well for the Giallorossi, with the 30-year-old having made 26 Serie A appearances, scoring once and getting four assists for the side.
