Antonio Conte’s Italy return could be hindered by finances

Antonio Conte’s return to managing in Italy could be hindered by the lack of finances in the country.

Corriere della Sera state that Conte’s stint at Tottenham is all but over. His wife and daughter are already in Turin and the manager is not happy with his relationship with the Lilywhites, even though Fabio Paratici is very much there. The harmony between Conte and Spurs is at an all-time low.

Inter and Juventus have been linked with returns for their former boss, but the financial situations at both clubs means that Conte will have to take a significant wage cut to join the Bianconeri or the Nerazzurri. That is why he would have to look abroad.

If Carlo Ancelotti leaves Real Madrid, Los Blancos could become an option. Paris Saint-Germain could also become an option for the Italian, with Christophe Galtier’s position not secure after the exit from the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich.
