Premier League leaders Arsenal have approached Chelsea for a move regarding Italy international Jorginho.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Gunners are on the lookout for a midfield, especially after they met disappointment in the chase for Moise Caicedo of Brighton. They see Jorginho as an alternative as signing the Ecuadorian midfielder seems like a complex task so late in the window.
Chelsea meanwhile, will be open to letting Jorginho leave but they would ask for a high fee even though his contract at the club runs out in the summer, when he will be a free agent.
Jorginho is yet to sign a new deal at Chelsea, despite his agent stating that his priority remains the London-based side, even though he would love to return to Napoli someday in the future. He had joined Chelsea from the Partenopei after Maurizio Sarri had made the same move during the same time.
