Premier League side Aston Villa are currently struggling to meet Galatasarayโs release clause for Nicolo Zaniolo.
Villa were linked with a move for Zaniolo yesterday, with Monchi said to be keen on reuniting with the Italian. But Gala inserted a release clause in the playerโs contract and want Villa to pay that, to have a chance of landing Zaniolo.
But Sky Italia report that Villa currently canโt pay the clause and are looking for a deal which is an initial loan with an option to buy the player permanently. The English side currently do not have the financials needed to meet Galaโs asking price and this could allow other clubs to trump them.
Zenit St Petersburg are keen on the player and have the financials needed to meet Galaโs release clause. They would also be willing to hand Zaniolo a hefty wage, which could be at โฌ9 million per season. Juventus have also been linked with the player in recent months.
