Atalanta want €70 million from Manchester United for Rasmus Højlund

Atalanta currently want Manchester United to meet the asking price of €70 million for striker Rasmus Højlund.

The Dane is training with La Dea in their pre-season training camp but he remains intent on a move to Old Trafford. He scored in a pre-season friendly for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side yesterday.

Daniele Longo has reported that now that United’s move for Andre Onana is sealed, they will shift their attention to the Atalanta starlet. The same has been reported by Alfredo Pedulla.

Initial contact has taken place between the two clubs and United informed La Dea that they would be willing to pay €40 million. But Atalanta are now waiting for United to make another attempt and they want a fee of €70 million from the Red Devils.

In England, a much higher price has been quoted but in Italy, the price tag of €70 million has constantly been spoken about.
