Atalanta’s Rasmus Højlund remains keen on Manchester United move

A vital week lies ahead as Manchester United aim to conclude Rasmus Højlund negotiations soon.

According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla, Rasmus Højlund is prioritising Manchester United’s interest in him and in spite of the presence of other suitors, he will wait for the Premier League side to send their offer to Atalanta.

La Dea manager Gian Piero Gasperini has already indicated his club to sort out the Danish striker’s issue as soon as possible so that he gets ample time to replace him.

Personal terms between the 20-year-old and The Red Devils have been agreed upon long back as United have offered him probably six or seven times what he earns at Atalanta, about €600k per season.

Erik Ten Hag and his club are expected to have internal meetings, but an offer of €60 million plus bonuses is set to arrive over the week. This is a figure close to what the Italian side has been asking for Højlund and the transfer will go through once it has been accepted.
