Premier League side Bournemouth have made contact to sign Hellas Verona goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipo this month.
It has been reported by Marco Conterio that the Cherries are looking for a goalkeeper this month and they have identified Montipo as a target. They have made contact to sign him but as of now, it is unlikely that the Gialloblu let him go elsewhere this month.
Having said that, Bournemouth are a fan of the player and they could also look to thrash out a deal which takes the Italian to the Vitality in the summer.
The 26-year-old has been a regular between the sticks for Verona this season, making 18 Serie A appearances for the side who are at 18th in the table currently. He had joined the Gialloblu on an initial loan deal from Benevento in 2021 but the move was made permanent in the summer of 2022 after he made over 100 appearances for the Giallorossi.
