Brahim Díaz to miss Fiorentina-Milan due to knee sprain

Brahim Díaz will miss Milan’s clash against Fiorentina which scheduled for Saturday night and he’s in doubt for the Champions League’s game against Tottenham scheduled for March 8th.

“He suffered a sprained knee, it’s a light one and we’ll do whatever we can so that he can be available against Tottenham”, coach Stefano Pioli said during today’s press conference.

With Brahim Díaz out of the squad, Belgian international Charles De Ketelaere will get his first start since January 29th when the Rossoneri lost 5-2 at home against Sassuolo.

He’s still looking for his first goal with Milan but as confirmed by Stefano Pioli: “He looks good, mentally and phisically”.

During the press conference, Pioli has also confirmed that Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi and Ismael Bennacer will be all called up for tomorrow’s game.

It means that for the first time in the season, Milan have no injured players and Pioli can count on the entire roster – apart from Brahim Díaz.

The only two other players missing for the Fiorentina’s game are Rafael Leao and Rade Krunic, both suspended.
