After coming to terms with Premier League side Bournemouth for wantaway attacking midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, Roma have now identified Chelseaโs Hakim Ziyech as a potential replacement for the Italianโs position in the team.ย
According to a report from Gianluca di Marzio, the Blues are expected to demand โฌ20 million from potential suitors for the Moroccan winger. Chelsea cannot give their player on loan as they have exhausted all the slots by regulation, and so Ziyechโs transfer would be a permanent one.ย
The 29-year-oldโs profile meets perfectly with the one Roma is looking for and Ziyech is known for his versatile abilities to operate from a number of attacking positions. The Giallorossi have reportedly established contacts with Ziyechโs agents to test the waters before sending an official bid to Chelsea.ย
The playerโs current salary of around โฌ6.5 million per season is expected to be a problem for Roma, considering their financial situation but Jose Mourinho knows that it would be a massive boost for his side if they can land the Moroccan.ย
Meanwhile, Milan seems to have been in the race a few days ago for Ziyech but the Rossoneri management are only looking for loan options in the market.ย
