After a succesfull first season in Serie A with Torino, Perr Schuurs has attracted interest from the Premier League. Crystal Palace have reportedly made an attempt to sign the Dutchman.
Crystal Palace have made a lucrative offer for Torino centre-back Perr Schuurs, DAZN report (via Tuttomercatoweb). The London based team offered €35M to secure the services of the 23-year-old Dutchman and they expect to complete the deal in the upcoming hours. Schuurs also already has an agreement in base with Palace for a four-year-contract.
Schuurs joined Torino last summer from Ajax for a figure of €13M. The Dutch defender even had Champions League experience under his belt, but he found himself on the bench too much in Amsterdam. In Turin, Schuurs got his career back on track. He played 30 Serie A games for Torino last season, in the three-man-defense of Ivan Jurić. Now, it seems like Schuurs will already depart Italy after only one season.
