It is no secret that Divock Origi endured a difficult first season in Milan. He started only ten league games and scored twice. He left Liverpool in order to increase his game time and become a regular starter for Milan, but it has not panned out that way. Luca Bianchin has reported that Origi has now been excluded from Milan’s pre-season tour.
The Rossoneri are going on a tour of the USA where they will play Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona. They have opted against taking the Belgian striker on tour and want him to find a new club.
There is strong interest in Origi from the Premier League. Crystal Palace and West Ham are expressing their desire to bring the 28 year old back to England. At this stage it is thought that Origi is not interested in either team, he wants to remain in Milan.
There is still some way to go and discussions to be had between club and player before any agreement can be reached on Origi’s future.
