Serie A side Fiorentina are now set to sign midfielder Gino Infantino from Argentine club Rosario Central.
FirenzeViola have reported that the move is set to go through and it was in motion for months, but it remained a secret. But the move was closed yesterday and La Viola will pay a fee of โฌ4 million plus bonuses, offering Rosario Central a percentage of future resale.
Infatino will arrive in Florence early next week with his agents and family. His signing came as a result of the appreciation of Nicolas Burdisso, who is currently the technical direction at Fiorentina.
La Viola had to beat competition from a host of clubs to secure the signing of the 20-year-old, whose willingness to join the club proved vital. Because of Fiorentinaโs popularity in Argentina, Infatino didnโt hesitate as soon as the club called. He will soon sign a five-year deal at the Artemio Franchi.
