Fiorentina are not going to sell or loan out midfielder Sofyan Amrabat this month despite rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona.
While Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Catalan outfit are interested in a move for the Morocco international, Viola News claim that there is no confirmation about whether they have made an offer for the player so far or not.
But one thing is clear, the outlet says, and it is the fact that La Viola will not let the midfielder leave this month because they don’t have a replacement and there is very little time left to sign a replacement on deadline day. It is also stated that a host of approaches from English clubs were rejected by La Viola this month.
Amrabat had impressed in the World Cup last year and had attracted interest from Liverpool and Tottenham, with Fiorentina said to have been demanding a high asking price.
