Franck Kessie refuses Barcelona exit amidst Tottenham interest

Former Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has refused the idea of leaving Barcelona despite the Catalan side opening the exit door for him.

Marco Conterio has reported about the situation of the midfielder, stating that the Ivorian is considered to be one of those players that Barcelona consider to be a sellable entity. The improvement of younger players and the manner in which Frenkie de Jong has established himself in the side has pushed Kessie down the pecking order at Barcelona.

Tottenham are interested in Kessie and Inter might also be a ‘hypothesis’ but Kessie has refused the idea of leaving Barcelona for now, as he wants to break into the first-team at Nou Camp. Barcelona might be convinced about selling him, but he is equally convinced about staying.

Kessie had joined Barcelona on a free transfer after his contract at Milan had expired but he has not broken into the first-team at the Catalan outfit so far.
