With Fenerbahçe keen on beating Galatasaray in the race for Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo, Okan Buruk’s side have already identified a potential alternative for the Italian.
Marco Conterio has reported that while Gala have come close to signing Zaniolo, an agreement with Roma remains elusive. They are offering €15 million plus bonuses, whereas Roma want a fee of €22 million plus bonuses. While there is scope to reach an agreement, but it still remains far away.
Gala see Arsen Zacharyan of Dinamo Moscow as a potential alternative for Zaniolo, but the Italian star remains the main target in the last few days of the window.
It has been reported recently that Fener are trying to beat Gala in the chase for Zaniolo, having expressed their willingness to present a higher offer to Roma and agreeing to meet Zaniolo’s release clause amount in his contract. But no agreement has been reached yet, with Gala’s first offer having been rejected.
