Genoa boast Serie A’s highest average attendance percentage this season

So far in the Serie A season, Genoa have recorded the highest average attendance percentage and the stat is a due credit to the Rossoblu, who are well ahead of the Italian giants.

The Rossoblu, of course, secured a return to the top-flight of Italian football this season, after a solitary year in Serie B. And they have since gone on to endure a hit-and-miss time of things on the pitch, sitting 13th in the table, with a record of four wins, two draws, and six defeats.

Whilst Genoa’s players have been somewhat inconsistent, though, the same certainly cannot be said of the club’s supporters. The data reveals that the Rossoblu boast a higher average attendance percentage than any other club in Serie A thus far this term.

Calcio E Finanza (via TMW) have revealed the average attendance percentage stats for the season.  On average, the Marassi is 97.28% full on matchday, with the 33,205-seater stadium packed with 32,302 spectators.

This is superior to all of Inter (96.64%) in 2nd, Milan (95.58%) in 3rd, Juventus (95.5%) 4th and Roma (92.45%) 5th. This statistic is due to credit to the Rossoblu, who will look to avoid relegation and achieve a mid-table finish this season.
