Serie A giants Inter are close to sealing a move for Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardžić.
The midfielder has been linked with a host of clubs such as Milan and Napoli but it seems as if Inter might be on the verge of sealing their move.
SportItalia’s Michele Criscitiello has reported that the move to the Nerazzurri is now one step away for the Udinese star. The Friuli-based side will earn €25 million from the Serbian’s sale and Inter youngster Giovanni Fabbian be heading to the Dacia Arena as part of the move. When it comes to Fabbian, Inter will likely have a buy-back clause for him.
The 21-year-old Samardžić recently chose to play for Serbia despite eligibility for Germany. Last season, he played 37 Serie A games for Udinese and scored five times and racked up four assists. It was his first season playing regularly, as he had broken into the first team in the 2021/22 season but had played only a limited number of games.
