Inter are now edging close to sealing a move for Bayern Munich goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Inter are likely to soon conclude the sale of Andre Onana to Manchester United in the next two days and they are now looking to replace the Cameroon international.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Nerazzurri have agreed personal terms with the Swiss goalkeeper as the player’s contract and salary has been discussed, leading to positive outcomes. The next step of the deal will see Inter speak to Bayern Munich about a fee and the type of move.
Instead of signing one goalkeeper to replace Onana, Inter are looking at one young goalkeeper and an experienced goalkeeper. The young goalkeeper is expected to be Anatoliy Trubin, who is expected to arrive from Shakhtar Donetsk.
United’s move for Onana is expected to close by Monday and the delay yesterday was only down to commissions and bonuses involved in the deal.
