Inter goalkeeper André Onana’s agent on transfer rumours: “I prefer not to talk about it”

The agent of Inter goalkeeper André Onana has clarified that the Nerazzurri star is fully focused on ending the season well with the Nerazzurri and he is calm about his future.

Chelsea have already held talks with Inter for Onana but have not managed to mean the Nerazzuri’s asking price for the Cameroon international. Manchester United are also said to be interested, with Inter said to be looking at a fee of around €50 million to part ways with the player.

Onana’s agent Albert Botines spoke to CM (via TMW) about the situation of his client and he stated that the ex-Ajax man is calm about his future.

He said: “Transfer rumors are normal at this stage, but I prefer not to talk about it because it’s very early and now the boy he is focused only on the field.

“We have a five-year contract with Inter, he has another four years on his contract and now he’s focused only on the Serie A final and the Champions League final. He still has a long contract, he’s calm. He is very happy, he plays in the strongest team in Italy.”

Onana had joined Inter from Ajax last summer and since he joined for free, his sale could allow Inter to make a major capital gain and considering their financial situation, the Nerazzurri could be forced to make sales.

This season, the Cameroon international has emerged as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and has been vital in Inter’s passage to the Champions League final.
