Inter have bid rejected for Bologna’s Marko Arnautovic

Inter have now been pegged back in their first bid for Bologna forward Marko Arnautovic.

The Nerazurri have been trying hard in their pursuit of signing a striker, having missed out on Gianluca Scamacca, Alvaro Morata and Folarin Balogun. Arnautovic is now a key target, along with Mehdi Taremi.

La Repubblica state that Inter have been met with disappointment in their first offer for the Austrian. They offered a fee of €8 million to Bologna, who continue to ask for €12 million for the 34-year-old. There has been talk of Stefano Sensi being included in talks for the player, but that possibility has been ruled out. Thiago Motta would not like the Italian in the side.

Inter will soon return for Arnautovic and they will try to increase their bid by including some bonuses in the negotiations, to come close to the Rossoblu’s asking price.

It has been previously reported that Arnautovic is keen on a move to Inter, where he played during Jose Mourinho’s tenure.
