Inter currently find themselves within pole-position in signing Monza full-back Carlos Augusto within the summer market ahead of next year.
Gianluca Di Marzio, via La Gazzetta’s FcInter1908, reports that Inter have been in communication with the 24 year-old’s entourage for some time now as the Nerazzurri have been watching him closely.
A contact between both parties yesterday has solidified the agreement between both Inter and the Brazilian international, allowing the Benemata to fulfill the potential vacancy of German wing-back Robin Gosens, as Inter received various offers for the 28 year-old who is currently unhappy with his lack of involvement within the first team.
Within this year’s current campaign, Augusto has found remarkable form, obtaining six goals and five assists in 35 matches played along the left-flank under Palladino at Monza.
Inter are not alone within the race as Premier League outfits Nottingham Forrest are also intrigued by the talented Brazilian defender.
