Inter are evaluating several profiles to strengthen at centre-back and two names that they are interested in are Real Madrid’s Nacho and Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.
Sky Italia report that Inter are already considering moves for the summer transfer window despite a Champions League final coming up and the backline will be a key area to address, with Milan Škriniar set to leave and join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. The contracts of both Stefan de Vrij and Danilo D’Ambrosio are set to expire in the summer too.
Nacho’s deal with Real Madrid also expires in the summer and meanwhile, Pavard could cost a fair bit because his deal at Bayern expires in the summer of 2024. But he remains on the club’s shortlist, with Inter slowly evaluating whether to move for the duo or not.
Considering that all of Škriniar, De Vrij and D’Ambrosio could leave in the summer, the Nerazzurri backline would need a fair amount of surgery.
