Inter keen on Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic

Inter are keen on signing Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic as a replacement for Milan Skriniar.

The Slovakian’s agent has made it public that his client is about to leave Inter, after having rejected the chance to sign a new deal with his current contract running out in the summer.

Daniele Longo has reported that Inter had come very close to signing Milenkovic last summer and they are back in for him now that the situation around Skriniar has become clearer. Inter are already looking at both Tiago Djalò from Lille and Perr Schuurs from Torino, but Piero Ausilio is rather keen on Milenkovic.

They have an agreement with his agent Fali Ramadani about how his contract and wages will be but the most difficult aspect of the deal will be agreeing a fee with Fiorentina. They would want La Viola to sell the player for less than €30 million, which is what their asking price was last summer. The only thing which needs to be understood is whether Inter will make a move this month or in the summer.
