Inter look to offer initial loan deal for Barcelona’s Franck Kessié

Inter are looking to offer an initial loan deal Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessié in the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that while the Ivorian is enjoying a good period at Barcelona in the absence of Pedri, Kessié still hasn’t given up hope about a move to the Nerazzurri. While there were talks about a potential exchange involving Marcelo Brozović and Kessié, it will not happen this time even though Inter are looking to find a new club for Croatian.

Brozović himself is not too sure about staying at Inter beyond this season and his exit could help Inter earn funds to pay for the Barcelona midfielder wages. But since Steven Zhang’s club is not too keen on spending too much in the summer, they will offer an initial loan deal with the option to buy to Barcelona. The Nerazzurri don’t expect Kessie’s value to be over €30 million.

While Barcelona may not be keen on moving the midfielder on at this point, things can change by the summer depending on how much the ex-Milan man plays during the remainder of the campaign.
